Indoor Garden

Bringing the garden indoors and planting some more!  Basil, mint, parsley, cilantro, chives and various types of sprouts in growing in mason jars 🙂

These plants make my apartment so homie and it’s so great to be surrounded by them when cooking.  This is my culinary paradise.

Delicious Food

A pile of vegetables on a plate = Delicious

Chickpea and ginger salad with fresh parsley
Asian inspired almond coleslaw
Pattypan squash wish swiss chard and asparagus, sauteed in a maple butter sauce

Bill Mollison Quote

But the greatest change we need to make is from consumption to production, even if on a small scale, in our own gardens. If only 10% of us do this, there is enough for everyone. Hence the futility of revolutionaries who have no gardens, who depend on the very system they attack, and who produce words and bullets, not food and shelter.

I had this for dinner tonight and absolutely loved it.  There’s so much color to this dish, not to mention it combines really well with couscous.  Enjoy!
